5 min walk from Paddington station and Hyde Park. Rooms and beds were quite small but clean in a twin room. Continental breakfast was pleasant enough. Staff kindly allowed us to leave luggage until our late train, which is really useful.
Great location, about a 5 minute walk to Paddington station The hotel is small as expected in London, the room was fine. We had a twin room with two beds, it was a good size for what we need. The bed was not uncomfortable, but also not my best sleep the drain in the shower was so easily clogged, so showering was uncomfortable because the bathroom was easily flooded. Great staff, Georgiana was the one who checked us in and it was a smooth experience. She was always in a good mood and saying hi to us whenever we arrived from our activities throughout the day. Would definitely live here again the next time I am in London
Lovely hotel in a lovely and strategic location. Even if Paddington is not a must see in the city, it presents different alternatives in terms of eating/souvenirs/pubs. The station is 5 minutes far from the hotel. The staff in the hotel was outstanding. We had a very bad experience one night (not the first time in the hotel as I read other oppinions) with the smell coming out from the bathroom (I guess it was something related to the pipes), but the attention and efficiency while seeking for a solution was remarkable. Would recommend the hotel for a family/couple visiting the city
The rooms was nice, we had one of the rooms that was noisiest. Strait to the street, but what to expect when traveling to a big city, and stil trying to have a normal budget? We had a great time and the service was good. My only complaint is that there was only a fixed shower head. But that's just a preference.
A pleasant mid-price hotel in Bayswater. The only real problem we had was that the coffee machine didn't work. The staff were very helpful but couldn't solve the issue. The boss had a fiddle with it next day and got it to function again (although he implied it was our fault!) Otherwise, a good stay. Room clean and warm, staff friendly and helpful, plenty of hot water in the shower, breakfast fairly plain and simple but enough of it. Not too far from the Tube (Paddington or Lancaster Gate) Close to Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park. The Indian restaurant directly over the road (Flavours of India) is a place we can recommend for an evening meal. Very good food, reasonable prices and welcoming atmosphere.
We were originally booked into their sister hotel (Judd Hotel) but got moved here at last minute due to an issue with our original room. Hotel is very well placed for Paddington station and there are plenty of things to do close to the hotel including Hyde Park and multiple pubs and restaurants. Our room was absolutely fine as was breakfast - although no toaster was available, one of the ladies helping in the breakfast room did make us some toast which was very welcome. The big plus of this hotel though was after we left - I had unfortunately left my wedding ring in our room. The hotel quickly confirmed that they had located the ring and then looked after it for a couple of weeks whilsts we were on holiday before posting in back very well packaged. Thoroughly deserve 5 stars for this kind act alone!
This hotel, near Paddington, met our expectations. Yes, I have to say that our room was very small but in the end it was just the place where we went to sleep at night after a day spent walking around London. So the important thing was the bed and it was very comfortable. In any case the room and the hotel in general were very clean. All the staff were very kind and always available. The location is very good because the hotel is in a quiet area but at the same moment it's in a strategic position near the underground stations (Paddington and Lancaster gate) and last but not least is very close to Hyde park. So yes it was a good experience.
This was fine. Relatively cheap, room was clean. Room was also a windowless cellar, but still fairly comfortable. Have stayed in several of the cheaper hotels in the area and this is the best of the lot
